Create a Jurassic Kingdom For Baby With Dinosaur Crib Bedding

Whether furnishing a nursery for baby or choosing a gift for a friend or grandchild, shopping for nursery items is fun. In addition to the traditional pink and blue pastel color schemes, nursery bedding and accessories are offered in vivid colors and use a variety of designs for an imaginative themed nursery.

Designing and decorating a nursery are effortless when using crib bedding sets that include all the basic nursery items along with coordinating accessories. Bedding for baby comes in a range of fabrics, from organic cotton to micro-suede and polyester blends. Accessories from diaper stackers to toy bags to wall décor make nursery decorating a snap.

For a boy, the Dinosaur Land dinosaur crib bedding set by JoJo Designs is perfect. Made in a chocolate and camel patchwork design, with rust, avocado, and butternut yellow dinosaur appliqués, it creates a colorful and playful Jurassic nursery. Machine washable, the nine-piece set is a combination of 100% cotton and durable, wrinkle-free micro-suede that includes everything to outfit the modern nursery. The set includes a crib bumper and crib skirt, a comforter, a fitted crib sheet, a diaper stacker, a decorative pillow, two window valances, and a toy bag. Presto! The bedding set itself creates a prehistoric dinosaur-themed nursery.

The 45-inch X 36-inch comforter has realistic and detailed embroidered appliqués of a triceratops, stegosaurus, brontosaurus, and the mighty T-Rex on a patchwork of rust, camel, and chocolate. The 100% cotton fitted sheet in butternut yellow; the dinosaur-appliquéd bumper with camel ties; and the embroidered coordinating crib skirt with a camel jagged edge all fit a standard crib mattress. A lumbering brontosaurus and flying pterodactyls enhance the two solid chocolate brown 84-inch X 15-inch valances. The coordinating diaper stacker, toy bag, and a cute appliquéd throw pillow complete the look. In addition to the basic bedding set, coordinating wall hangings, curtains, laundry hamper, changing pad cover, lamp shade, and a pterodactyl baby musical mobile are available.

Dinosaur crib bedding is so whimsical, that it can also be used for a baby girl's nursery also. It makes for a happy-looking nursery. The variety of dinosaur themed decor is amazing. Not only sheets, blankets and quilts for the crib, but lovely outdoorsy looking wall hangings, drapes of all varieties, wooden book-ends, pillows and shams, even plush dolls.

The dinosaur theme grows with baby as toddlers and preschoolers are avid dinosaur fans, too. If the difference between T-Rex and stegosaurus confuses, better add a couple of good picture books to the nursery bookshelf...for the adults!

Review of Create a King From Two Twin Beds Product

The Create a King product is designed to allow you to create a king sized mattress or bed from two twin beds. To achieve this the product requires that you simply place two mattresses together, put the poly sheepskin along the middle, adjust a belt to suit the length of the mattresses, and then secure the belt. The adjustable snap-shut belting is designed to ensure that the mattresses stay together securely and won't come apart when being used by the sleeper. The goal of the product is to provide the dimensions, space and comfort of a king-size bed instead of having two separate twin mattresses.

The product is machine washable so it can be cared for much the same way you would keep the rest of your bedding maintained and clean. The color of the product is neutral or natural, but once you have the sheets on the bed you will not be able to see the Create a King. In addition, the product can fit mattresses that are up to 80 inches in length.

Some owners say that the product has let them down because the materials that it is made of seem inexpensive and of questionable quality. They say that all that the product essentially consists of is a thin and narrow article of sheepskin and a nylon belt. Some owners say that a securing clip on one of the straps gave out the first time they tried to use it. Other owners, however, are pleased with the real world usability of the Create a King and are happy with how the product transformed two twin mattresses into a much larger bed without having to pay the hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars for a king-sized mattress.
